Moving in Darling Point? Get three things right and the move takes care of itself: a well-equipped truck, qualified movers with local knowledge and a plan made before the day. ZOOM Removalists ticks all three. We plan and manage Darling Point furniture removals of all sizes.
As a steep, ridge-backed peninsula, Darling Point is full of winding streets and dead ends. Factor in that 87% of its homes are luxury apartments (some with no lifts), tight building access and busy roads at peak hours, planning a local move can be challenging at best.
With nearly two decades of experience handling mid-century and modern properties, our furniture removalists manage the planning, packing, transport and setup. We move everything from apartment towers and Art Deco blocks to grand heritage homes in this prestigious harbourside suburb.
Keep valuables safe with our combined moving and storage service. We pick up your items and store them in our secure facility using blankets and professional equipment to protect your goods inside your storage unit. Just $2 per day.

Darling Point is a small harbourside suburb in Sydney’s east. For those who can afford it, the area has harbour views toward the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, all on the CBD’s doorstep.
Most Darling Point moves take a few hours, though dead ends, narrow roads and very limited street parking can add time. As a guide:
Interstate moves can take longer, usually around 24–48 hours depending on your final address.
Many Darling Point apartment buildings have strict lift and loading restrictions, so the best slots go quickly. We recommend booking 2 – 4 weeks ahead of schedule, especially for Fridays and Saturdays. You may also need to clear your moving times with management at places like Ranelagh Apartments or Eastbourne Tower.
We may visit your home before moving day to better plan your upcoming relocation. We also recommend letting us know whether your street is narrow or requires a loading window. Once we have more details, our team will match a truck to your move, going smaller where a big one won’t fit, and plan where it parks before the job begins.
Most apartment blocks have set lift and loading times. Send us your building manager’s details, and we’ll work within them, including any padding or insurance paperwork they ask for.
We understand many Darling Point homes hold high-value items, and that not every owner will wish to move them all in one go. ZOOM’s removals and storage service means we can load and store your items for you. We’ll handle it all, from pickup to packing and delivery into our depots to make your storage experience seamless. Call our team for more details.
All of them. That includes close neighbours like Double Bay, Point Piper, Woollahra and Rose Bay, plus Edgecliff and Rushcutters Bay. Same trucks and same rates across the whole Eastern Suburbs.
