How far ahead do I need to book an office removal?
We recommend booking at least two to three months ahead of time to ensure that we can cater to the requirements of your business. For many offices and corporate environments, a relocation requires after hours moving for the job to be completed over a weekend, so we aim to ensure that we can provide this service to all commercial clients at the ideal time for the beginning or end of a lease. We can also cater to last minute moves where possible, so if you don’t have the ability to book or a removalist has fallen through, get in touch with Zoom and we can put together a quote.
Can Zoom provide a certificate of insurance for buildings?
Yes. Most commercial or strata buildings require proof of public liability insurance before they approve a move-in or move-out. We can provide a certificate for our $20 million public liability insurance ahead of the big move.
Can you move IT equipment and servers?
Yes. We can disconnect, pack up and reconnect all computers, monitors and required technology as part of the move. We can work with your IT team to ensure that everything is diligently managed in terms of server shutdowns prior to the move.
Will our business have to shut down while moving?
That depends on when it’s booked. Most offices tend to book after hours or across a weekend, so your team can safely leave their old office on one day and come back to their new office set up the next. For larger relocations, we can do it in phases to ensure that the business keeps operating seamlessly.
